PLATEAU VOICE: Plateau State is a State with divergent interest yet renown youths like you have come out to add your voice to the build up to the 2019 general elections because of your concern for the State,what is the way out for Plateau State as we approach the 2019 General Elections.
MR.LUKA ISTIFANUS WUKWA: Governor Lalongs incumbency factor will likely play out as he is entitled to 2 terms as guaranteed by the constitution, however he is in the race to complete his 2nd term in office.
Although he has tried to keep his 2nd term ambition modest,he has worn over the State Civil Service as Salaries,Pension are up to date with gratuities also progressing,he also has some projects like road construction and the resuscitation of ailing industries to his credit which has been moribund for decades now.
PLATEAU VOICE : But Sir.
MR LUKA ISTIFANUS WUKWA : Yes pls.
PLATEAU VOICE : Do you think those beautiful things which you mention will remain fresh in the minds of Plateau people and will be a factor in the 2019 general elections as mentioned by you?
MR.LUKA ISTIFANUS WUKWA : Well Except for critics who have nothing to offer,critics have carpeted Governor Lalong for allegedly performing poorly in office,but as an APC member and a Plateau man with a conscience,I will work for the victory of the party and the Governor with regards to the performance of the Governor, if the truth must be told outside politics am sure the greatest critics will applaud the performance of the Governor bearing in mind the meager resources available to him and what he has achieved so far.
PLATEAU VOICE: How meager is these resources available to him which you are talking about here sir.
MR.LUKA ISTIFANUS WUKWA: Don't forget the Governor inherited some liabilities from the previous government and government as a continues entity he had to obliged to some of these inherited liabilities.
PLATEAU VOICE: How well has the government performed so far by your standard and that of the Plateau people if truth needs to be told.
MR.LUKA ISTIFANUS WUKWA: The Governor has done very well within the available resources,I think he rather should be commend he has managed the resources available to him well and should be praised.
PLATEAU VOICE : Really?
MR.LUKA ISTIFANUS WUKWA : Yes pls,you know that the State resources have been dwindling and not much is available for developmental projects but even despite the lean purse of the State some projects are still been done,by and large the Governor has done well and he has been prudent in the management of resources,as democrats we must be part and parcel of the democratic process and adhere to the Tenets of democracy.
