EXCITEMENT OVER THE BRITISH-AMERICA INTERCHANGE (FLY OVER) CONSTRUCTION IN JOS :
Excitement in Jos and around Plateau State as work begins at the popular British-America junction and road in Jos,the British-America junction a road within the Jos metropolis known for having a notorious gridlock in the early hours of the morning and in the evening and when motorist and commuters are going back to their various destination after a hard days job,has been temporarily close for construction by the contractors till further notice.
Part of his promises to better the lives of citizens the Governor Simon Bako Lalong administration has not left any stone on turn to do meaningful projects and give the people of Plateau State the best,it is therefore in these light that the Governor Simon Bako Lalong's administration has gone ahead to construct a fly over bridge in other to make life easer and for the road to have a free flow of traffic,those who know that road well can attest to the fact that there has been accidents that have claim promising lives of Nigerians,and a notorious gridlock that has been difficult to reduce.
In a press statement available to Plateau Voice the Comissioner of works Hon.Pam Botmang has appeal to citizens to cooperate with the situation and bear the inconvenience that will occur as a result of the diversions due to work commencing.
Bot-Mang said "we are excited that the contractors are moving to site to commence work.
This is significant for the government and the people of the State who have long yearned for a relief to the traffic gridlock in British-American Junction."
Again he has advise motorist to use alternative routes earlier listed out and again urging the people to be patient as such pains will eventually give birth to joy of the new infrastructure.
Plateau Voice has gathered that their is a feeling of excitement around the city and State for this well thought out project by the Lalong Administration,with these there will be a free flow of traffic when the interchange fly over is completed.
